“WOW”, that is simply the best way to describe what I have just witnessed! The new “4K” Sony XBR-65XBR900A the picture has such depth and color; it strikes me as very natural. I could see every blade of grass and every little detail of information that was coming at me. Certainly one of the most realistic televisions that, I have ever laid my eyes on. I was even impressed by the sound. As it does seem, that Sony spent some quality time on the sound system in this set. I would opt for a separate audio system, to compliment this great looking set or any TV for that matter.
I can’t wait to see what else we are going to see in 4K, for the mean time stop by and get the guys to demo this set for you, definitely worth it!!!

How to Make a Bunch of Roses Using Duct Tape
In this hatefully commercial world we live in, nothing says "I love you" on Valentine's Day like a bunch of red roses. But if you can't locate a florist, or your partner has a sense of humor, why not try making a bunch using duct tape instead?
Over at Instructables, there's a great step-by-step guide that shows you how to make beautiful roses out of stuff you probably have lying around the house. In fact, all you need is:
Red duct tape (about 3-4 feet per rose)
Green duct tape (about 2-3 feet per rose)
Red marker
Green marker
Floral wire (or other stiff wire) (about 10 feet)
And the best part is they never die, so if you're so inclined you can reuse them next year. Let me know how your partner likes that.

When Should Kids Get Their First Cell Phones?
It's a hotly debated topic: how young is too young for a child to have a mobile phone, meaning a fully functioning device versus a plastic toy? A recent study sheds some light on this, and the answer may surprise you.
According to SodaHead.com, an online opinion-based community, most (54%) feel that it's appropriate for kids between the ages of 13 and 15 to receive their first mobile phones. But a rather large percentage (24%) feel kids under 12 should be equipped, while 22% feel that parents should wait until their kids are 16 or older.
This, of course, includes those standard send and end phones that kids most likely have to be able to text with friends, as well as a way for parents to get in touch, and for use in case of emergencies.

Hello everyone, I came across this article this morning. It's not talking about the electronics industry BUT I come across it all the time from our competition. Advertising mistakes do happen time to time but we strive for customer service and to not deceive our customers whereas alot of other stores like to use the smoke & mirror technique!
In the context of this Website, I'm a journalist first. But, like anyone, I'm also a consumer. Steve Jobs Is Dead
The Apple chairman and former CEO who made personal computers, smartphones, tablets, and digital animation mass-market products passed away today. We're going to miss him.
Steven P. Jobs passed away on October 5th, 2011 after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was just 56 years old. We mourn his passing, and wish his family the very best.
Let's address this up front: Gizmodo and Steve Jobs had, at best, a tumultuous relationship. Yet no matter how much he may have hated us, we admired him.

A new HD movie service, Hollywood Suite, is launching in Canada, with a model that seems to be competing in some fashion with Netflix. Sony Launches 3D On Demand Streaming Service
Sony of Canada is now offering a free, on-demand streaming service that offers promotional video clips and trial content in 3D, including things like highlights from Wimbledon 2011.
The "3D Experience" is accessible on all 2011 model Sony Bravis LCD TVs, and will extend to 3D-capable Blu-ray players and home theatre systems soon.
Other content will span a variety of genres, including movies, music, sports, and documentaries. In total, there will be 30 titles available at launch, like the trailers for Green Hornet and Monster House. The Wimbledon content, however, won't be available immediately.
Of course, a 3D-capable TV is required in order to view the content, and Sony recommends and Internet connection speed of 10Mbps.
